Taranaki Education Board.

The monthly meeting of the Educate Board was held on Wednesday. Present: Messrs Jas. Wade (chairman), Mo"rton, Monkhouse, McDonald, Faull, Mackay, Maunder and Adlam. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN. On the motion of Messrs Monkhouse and Mackay, Mr Wade was re-elected chairman. Mr T. Brownlee was appointed temporary headmaster at the Eltham Road school. Mrs Dickinson was appointed sewing mistress at Te Kiri. In reply to the Stratford Committee a sum of £7 10s was granted for repairs, &c. It was resolved that the interior of the Awatuna School be repainted during the summer holidays.
