The Hawera Club beat the Unity Club (New Plymouth) by an inuings and 127 runs, United only making 27 and 15. The match Hawera Club v. New Plymouth Club, resulted in a win for the former by 102 runs. Canterbury beat Wellington by nine wickets.
Mr Harden (secretary of the Taranaki Cricket Association) has received a letter from the secretary at Auckland intimating that the Fijian team will play a Taranaki eleven on or about the 22nd or 23rd February. The match wi'l be played at Hawera.
