Carrol, Scott, O’Donnell, Twomey, E. Pepperill, A. Good, Raa Moetabuna, Mathers, D. Markham, Heath and Brennan; Hon Sec., (y. W. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the meeting.
The committee then met and made several alterations in the programme.
Th« total stake* to be given are. the same as last year: £235. In the Harakeke stakes the boundary limit was abolished making it an open race for 8-year-olds. The distance in the Opus. Stages; was reduced frqm 1J milfS v to .1 mile. A Forced Handicap was substituted for the Consolation race. ■ ■ Messrs Adams and Andrews’ tender to work the "totalisatpir waa acccpted. Messrs- Twomey.R.H. Pepperill, Edmunds, Stewart, O’HonneU, - Middleton were elected ft Works committe.e.-., . Messrs Middletqn; JVM- Hickey, H. Wagstaff, R. H.'Seccombe, A.
