Amateur Dramatic Club.
The members of the above club have put two pieces in rehearsal, which are to be performed on the 9th November in aid of the Jetty Fund. The pieces chosen—“ Ici En Parle Francais” and “ The Olockmaker’s Hat are full of fun and amusing situations throughout, and will provide a hearty laugh,to those who avail themseves of the opportunity of witnessing them. It is asserted by the best medical authorities that a hearty laugh is the best medicine one can take, and this being so we advise all, to go and see the play. A full caste of characters will be published in our next issue. The lauuable object for which the entertainment is to be given would of itself be sufficient to secure a bumper bouse, but when they are also sure of plenty of amusement as value for their money, we expect standing room will be at a discount. The Opunake String Band will supply the overture and music during the interval between the pieces,
