PAEROA TOURNAMENT. .

THE OPENING GAMES.

The annual tournament in connection .vith the Paeroa Bowling Club was commenced this morning and will be concluded to morrow. ■ The . visitors were welcomed this morning by Mr M. J. Harris (president of the Paeroa Bowling Club) who expressed the hope that they would spend -a pleasant time. *Some 12 teams are taking part, and they hay« been divided into two sections as follows : — Section A.—Paeroa : Ardern, Ellis, Uean, Taylor (skip). Paeroa : Robson, Wilson, P. Hauge-Smith, Woods (skip). Cambridge: Hamilton, H.Lewis, Byrne, S. Lewis (skip). Te Aroha: Heathcote, Clothier, Morison, Dalton (skip) Karangahake : Gallaher, Ritchie, Hay ward, Dobson (skip). Waikino-: Truscott, Croucher, Field, Quin (skip). Section B—Paeroa: Olson, Grant, Pinder, Hamilton, (skip). Paeroa: Dunlop, Frogley, MeWatters, Eyitt (skip). Otahuhu : Hayward, Nicholls, McMullen, Carson, (skip). Karangahake : Andrew, Mayson, Deane, Hilton (skip). Karangahake: Hill, Moran, Kitching, Jury (skip). Te Aroha: Mick, Sherlock, Gahagan, Box (skip). FIRST ROUND.
