POLICE COURT.

THIS DAY

Mr F. Cock, J.P., presided at the Police Court at Paeroa this afternoon, when a man named George Wilkinson, about 65 years of age, was charged with indecent assault on a child under seven years of age at Karangahake on the 4th inst. He was remanded until tne 15th inst, bail being allowed in two sureties ot each.

A young man named Heenan was charged at the Thames Police Court yesterday with the theft of clothing at Paeroa, and was remanded to appear at Paeroa on Friday.
