Fall From Fire Escape

PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. Head injuries and a fractured spine were received by Keith Strange, aged 22. a leading aircraftman stationed at the telecommunication unit, RNZAF station. Ohakea, when he fell from a fire escape at the back of the Army Headquarters buildings, Whitmore street, Wellington, about 6 o’clock tonight. He was rushed by ambulance to the Wellington Hospital, where his condition is reported as serious. His parents live at 32 Byron street, Miramar, Wellington.
