DIFFICULT CONDITIONS
Defence Rifle Shooting The Oamaru Defence Rifle Club fired its second practice shoot of the season at 500 and 600 yards at the Federal Range on Saturday afternoon. Conditions were difficult with a tricky changing wind and light. The scores were:— W. Falloon 46—41—87, N. Hicks 46—41 87, I. Swinard 46—41—87, J. Brunton 47 40—87, J. Gibson 43—43—86, L.
