Work Of Corso In Oamaru

For the two years the local committee had been in existence, approximately £BSO had been sent from Oamaru. This was stated at the annual meeting of the Oamaru branch of CORSO on Tuesday night. The Mayor, Mr M. F. E. Cooney, was in the chair, and the chairman of the committee, the Rev. W. E, D. Davies, presented the report. Officers elected were: Chairman, Mr Davies; secretary, Mrs Salisbury; treasurer, Mr V. Hudson; committee—Mesdames J. C. Klrkness, J. Meikle, C. Rickman, Young, Misses Lindsay, Bradshaw, Dunning, Messrs J. C. Kirkness, M. Leadbetter, and F. L. Edwards.
