Work At Quarry

Further supplies of stone were shot down and crushing was recommenced during the week at the borough quarry. To date, approximately 1800 cubic yards of stone have been crushed by the new plant, which is functioning well. This is stated by the borough engineer, Mr K. A. Ballinger, in his report to the Oamaru Borough Council.
