Invitation To Centennial Games The annual meeting of the Kiwi Amateur Swimming Club last night accepted the invitation of the Canterbury Centennial Committee to present the club's aquacade at the Centennial Swimming Games in December, and it was decided to stage the show in Dunedin for a season of five nights in Dfecember, The president, Mr E. C. Isaacs, occupied the chair. The following officers were elected:— Patrons, Sir Donald Cameron and Mr S. Brown; vice-patron, Mr C. J. L. White; president, Mr E. C. Isaacs; deputy chairman, Mr D. Forsyth; honorary secretary, Mr J. Wilson; assistant secretary, Miss M. Wilson; honorary treasurer. Mr I. Chadwick; vice-presidents, Messrs W. N. Connell and R. S. McNaught were added to the present list; club captain, Mr L. Wilson: deputy captain, Mr B. E. Tremaine; ladies’ captain, Miss 11. Forsyth; deputy ladies’ captain, Miss J. Stewart; committee—Misses D. Currie, A. Lane, S. Payne, I. Gager, D. Gilchrist, R. Currie. H. Moore, Mrs W. N. Connell, Messrs H. Lamb, G. Sinclair, W. Wilkie, C. Knox, K. McAuley, I. Jackson and D. Trainor; lady vice-presidents—Mesdames J. Currie, G. Mowat, A. Ashyford, and D. Reid were added to the present list; handicappers— Miss H. Forsyth, Messrs D, Reid and L. Wilson; starter, Mr A. Thomas; deputy starter, Mr D. Reid; record clerk. Miss D. Currie; club trustee. Miss H. Forsyth; delegates to Otago Swimming Centre— Messrs D. F. Watson. D. Reid and E. C. Isaacs; delegate to Otago branch of Royal Life Saving Society, Mr J. Wilson: superintendent of club coaching, Mr D. Reid: water polo representative, Mr L. Wilson. It was decided to hold an inter-club carnival on October 12 and a further carnival on a date to be arranged in November. The club Harbour Race will be held at Vauxhall on Saturday, January 20.

It was also decided to enter teams in the senior and junior water polo competitions.
