TAXI LICENCES

Three Transfers Granted Three applications for the transfer of taxi licences were granted by the Dunedin Metropolitan Licensing Authority at a sitting yesterday. The members of the authority were Messrs E. J. Smith (chairman), W. S. Armitage, J. G. Barnes and N. D. Anderson.

The transfers approved were Henry Thomas Glengarry to David Livingstone McLachlan (Mr J. M. Lloyd appeared for both parties); Albert Davidson to Ralph Vernon Phillips; and Leslie Albert Coombes (Mr M. M. Caudwell) to Alexander Boag (Mr R. A. King).
