Robertson Scott world authority on rural life and founder of the English quarterly “The Countryman,’’ will be on New Zealand farming areas for the next four or five months. He arrived with his wife by the Aorangi. Mr Robertson Scott, who with Mr Churchill and Mr Attlee is a Companion of Honour, has written “ about a dozen and a half books ” during his 84 years. One of these volumes is considered a standard work on the rural conditions of Holland.
