Alteration In f Load Limits PA WELLINGTON, Apl. 4. The Municipal Association has agreed to the proposals of the Transport Department to alter the load limit for certain heavy vehicles. The proposed changes are expected to affect mainly cities and the larger industrial communities and will not affect classified roads, They provide for an increase in the limit on the gross load of two-axled vehicles from 10 tons to 12 tons, with the imposition of an axle-load limit of eight tons where there was none before. For multiaxled vehicles, the proposal is to raise the maximum axle-load from six tons to seven tons where the axles are spaced eight feet or more apart.
