ASSURED OF SUPPORT

True Dora At Oamaru The Pleasant Point trainer, J. J. Brophy, has bright prospects of getting a share of the stakes attached to the Weston Trot at Oamaru today with True Dora, a five-year-old mare by Ringtrue from Dora Parrish, by Guy Parrish from a Tracey mare. In four races this season, he record is a win and a second placing. At the Kurow meeting she won the first division of the Waitaki Trot, of one mile and a-half, decisively, going 3min 24 3-ssec from a 3min 37sec mark. Prior to that she had run second to Special Globe in the Waikaura Trot at the Oamaru meeting. She should be an improved mare now and is certain to have a solid following for her race today.
