WINGATUI ENTRIES

SEVERAL HORSES MAY RACE AT ELLERSLIE Several Wihgatui horses have been entered for the opening day of the Auckland Racing Club’s Easter carnival. A. E. Didham has entered Relampago and Young Bob in the open hurdle races, and if they make the trip they should make a forward showing. Both should be improved by their recent racing. D. P. Wilson has Frances engaged in the main handicap race, and The Hob is nominated for the rich Easter Handicap, which carries a stake of £SOOO and is run over one mile. The only other Wingatui candidate is Dinnyhazer, who is nominated for both hack and open events. Among the entries for the Easter Handicap are Rosslare, last year’s winner, Tudor Prince, King Finchall, Statesman, Stanfred, Lord Manna, Beaumaris, and the brilliant imported mare High Glory.
