PARKING PROBLEMS

The problem confronting motorists on a Friday night to find a parking place for their cars is increasing, and many side streets are now being used for this purpose. The parking areas between the trees and on the kerb are quickly filled up, and motorists find difficulty in obtaining parking space in close proximity to shops at which they wish to call. Not infrequently cars are seen parked between the lines of trees, thus preventing other cars from passing them. Other cases have been noticed of cars not being parked far enough up to the line within the trees, with the result that other cars pulling in to park inside the trees have to swing out in the line of traffic to pass.
