THE WELLINGTON MEETING Special to the Daily Times CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 17. Two more Riccarton trainers will go north tonight with horses they intend to race at the Wellington Racing Club's meeting. G. Ridgway will take Lord Elgin and Robinfaye, two recent winners, both engaged in the Wellington Cup, and also Hobgoblin, who has prospects in highweight company. W. Barr will also go tonight, when he will take Langham, a light-weight to be considered in the Wellington. Cup, and Elofa, who looks like paying his way this season in middledistance races.

High Spirits, a smart two-year-old, has two engagements on the first day at Trentham. It is intended to miss the Wellington Stakes and to run her in the Fitzherbert Handicap, in which she will have support. Three horses from the team of the Southland trainer, R. McLellan, have arrived at Riccarton, and they will continue the journey to Trentham tomorrow night.
