Rec. 9 p.m. OTTAWA, Dec. 7. John Gard, aged 55, had a hard time getting to hospital after he was hurt in a street accident in Winnipeg today. He started out in an ambulance, which broke down. A fire engine was called to push the ambulance. It stalled. Then a police car was called. It , collided with another car. A pas- ; sing motorist picked up Gard and» took him to hospital somewhatcritical of the city’s public services.
