Pirata’s Two Wins
Further women’s hockey competition matches were played at Ngapara and Waimate on Saturday. Pirata Blue beat Waimate by 10 goals to 1, and Pirata White beat Ngapara by 4 goals to 2. For Pirata Blue Mrs Fell and I. McLeod scored two goals each, N. Carey 4 goals, and E. Berry and N. Collings one goal each, while for Waimate J. Kennard scored. For Pirata White Wilson scored two goals and Mitchell and Knight one each, and for Ngapara Nimmo and Addison each scored a goal.
