The North Otago Golf Club played a mixed foursome on Saturday in a qualifying round of the Maude Cup series, when the following qualified:—Aitken and Mrs Butler 104—24J—70J, Ross and Mrs Ross 99—17—72, Sanders and Miss Elliott 94—19i—74J. Finlay and Mrs Barclay 101 —25J —75J, Dyson and Mrs Paul 88—12J—75i, Fraser and Mrs Fraser 93—17—76, McQuade and Miss McQuade 97 —2oi— l 76i, Cuthbertson and Mrs Cuthbertson 93 —16J —76J. Mcßeath and Mrs Mcßeath 90—13 J—76l were eliminated on a countback.
