SANDERS CUP TRIAL

AUCKLAND CRAFT PICKED p.A. AUCKLAND, Dec. 19. A new boat, White Heather, will defend the Sanders Cup for Auckland in the national yachting contest, to be sailed at Wellington next month. White Heather to-day scored her third win in the series of nine trials held to select the Auckland representative, and narrowly headed off Vivid,- which had had one win, and Bluebell, which had had two. The yacht will be raced in the contest by her owner-skipper, J. Young. Bettina, which won the Sanders Cup for Auckland at Dunedin last summer, was not successful in any of the nine trials.
