HOSPITAL APPEAL
Sir, —Please allow me to thank all of your Dunedin and Otago readers for gifts of used stamps sent to me for the benefit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children, London. The secretary in his air mail letter to me of May, writes very appreciably of the help they get from the monthly parcels of stamps. I am sending regularly. The parcels of stamps, he says, realise from £8 10s up to £l2, and sometimes more. I need more stamps of all sorts and I am confident your readers will endeavour to help me with gifts of stamps to continue mv fegular sendings. I thank them in anticipation. There is more need now than ever to help those poor sick children in the above hospital to maintain all their needs—l am, etc., E, D. Bernstein. Richmond terrace. New Brighton. 4/6/48. *
