BARTH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
The second annual meeting of the Barth School Association, held in the Otago Pioneer Women's Memorial Hall, was presided over by Miss I. Barth, who was again elected to the choir for the ensuing year. Miss E. Nciper was re-elected secretary. The musical programme was opened by Mrs E. Westland who played “ Juba ” (Nathaniel Dett) and Rhapsody (Dohnyani). Miss H. Roy sang two songs by Brahms, " Sunday ” and " Serenade,” and was accompanied by Mrs M. Reid. Miss O. Neiper’s piano solo was Brahm's Rhapsody in B Minor. Miss H. Longford gave an interesting and instructive short talk on her impressions of the arts, music, painting and literature. Short book reviews were given by Mrs N. Aitken, and Miss B. Barth. The Brains Trust questions were answered by Mesdames M. Hilliker and M. Evans.
