YOUNG FARMERS’ VISITS

Twenty-three members of the Nelson Young Farmers’ Club will visit the South Otago district- from June 2 to June 12, and will be billeted in each of the nine club districts affiliated to the district committee. About three young farmers will stay at each farm with a local member, and will be shown the work done in that area. About three field days will be held in the period, and the young farmers will visit the South Otago Freezing Works, among other places. Young farmers from Bay of Plenty will also pay a similar visit on June 16. They will be taken to Inch Clutha Island and Port Molyneux, and will have a field day.
