“ The displays in some of the stores in this country are magnificent and could welt take theii place among the best in London’s Regent street,” said Mr E. Leibke, sales director for a London firm, of textile and silk manufacturers. While in New Zealand he had visited some factories engaged in manufacturing garments, and he had seen modern machinery and methods of manufacture that he had not seen in any other country in the world, he added.
