ART SCHOLARSHIP

The second award of the Carnegie Travelling Scholarship of the Auckland Society of Arts will be made within a few months. The scholarship, amounting to £250 a year, is periodically awarded to New Zealand students who show exceptional promise in any one of the creative arts. The endowment is made to assist the

successful applicants to" travel abroad , and further their education. Preference in the award of the scholarship is given to students of painting.
