PAILS FAVOURS AUSTRALIA NEW YORK, May 10. If John Bromwich plays, Australia should win the 1948 Davis Cup series, said Dinny Pails to-day. He added that even if Bromwich does not play, Australia will still stand a good chance. Pails has returned to New York with Kramer. Riggs and Segura for the American Professional Championships. Pails has now beaten Segura in 36 of their 57 matches during their professional tour, and Kramer has beaten Riggs 59 times out of 78. The gate receipts for the tour now total 472,149 dollars. ■
