KING’S HIGH SCHOOL / ONE RECORD BROKEN One record was broken and one other equalled when the King’s High School sports were concluded yesterday. I. G. McKenzie lowered the time for the 90 Yards Intermediate Hurdles to 14sec, while C. Shaw equalled the record time ol 61 4-ssec for the 440 Yards Junior Championship. Competition was keen in all classes, the championship points being fairly evenly divided, especially in the Senior Championship, while in both the Intermediate and Junior Championships there was a close challenger to the winner of the title. , , A. J. Scorgie, who won the Senior Championship, proved himself a versatile athlete by winning the High Jump, the 100 Yards Sprint and the 120 Yards Hurdles, as well as coming in second in the 220 Yards Sprint.
