MARINE INSURANCE RATE RAISED

Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 10. The marine insurance rate for war and civil commotion risks to destinations in Palestine was increased yesterday from 17s 6d per cent, to £3 per cent. This is by far the highest war risk rate fixed since the war's end, says the Daily Telegraph, and reflects the increasingly grave view of the Palestine situation. It is just a month since the rate was increased from 10s to 17s 6d, itself a new high level since the war.
