RELEASE ANNOUNCED

DETAINEES IN BURMESE PLOT Rcc. 8 p.m. RANGOON, Sept. 3. The Government has announced the release of some persons detained after the assassination on July 19 of Aung Sang and six Ministers, but who were subsequently found not to be implicated in the plot to overthrow the Government. A Government bulletin said that the timely arrest and detention of all those suspected of being concerned had foiled a plot of an unprecedented scale to overthrow the Government. It was inevitable that some who were not directly or indirectly concerned had been affected and the Government now desired to release-those who are not implicated.
