SPECIAL TRIBUNALS

COURT’S COMMENT ON DECISIONS “ Mention was made during the hearing of the claim,” says the court, “of the decisions of special tribunals set up under the Strike and Lock-out Emergency Regulations and of the decisions of wages commissioners under the Economic Stabilisation Emergency Regulations, and to the disturbing effect of such decisions on the general wage structure, resulting in resentment and discontent amongst the ranks of the workers. We do not doubt that there is something in these contentions, but whilst the matters referred to cannot be entirely ignored, we are not disposed to give them a great deal of weight in arriving at our conclusions on the present application.”
