UNIFORM WAGE RATES
REMOVAL OF DISPARITIES
“ The object of recent amendments to the economic stability regulations is the removal of disparities which have arisen between the rates of remuneration of various classes of workers,” says the court, “A flat increase to all workers would not remove disparities but merely perpetuate them. Any amendments made to awards and agreements will, of course, have no legal effect upon the rates of remuneration of those workers who are already receiving rates in excess of the new rates prescribed in the amendments.”
