EURASIAN PLEA FOR ORDER

Rec. 11 p.m. BATAVIA, Aug. 13. The Netherland Indies Eurasian Society to-day sent a message to the Security Council appealing to the Council to consider “ the actual situation in territories at present ruled by the Republic and the mentality and activities of terrorists robbing and murdering Republicans before reaching any decision on Indonesia." The message cited two cases where women and children had been murdered by Republicans, and added: “We plead to your Council to enable the Netherlands Government to bring security and order to this country." Most of the 200,000 Eurasian community, of Indonesia is in the Dutch-occupied areas.
