Preservation of the Fauna and Flora of New Zealand,’ Marjorie Mcßae 1, Janette Atkinson 2. Lower Fifth Forms.—“ The Speech of a Person About to be Martyred.” Judith Capon 1. Eleanor Bews 2 Upper Fifth Forms.—“ My (Favourite Poet,” Eleanor McDiarmid 1. Marie McDiarmid 2. Sixth Forms.—“A Plea for a Cause to do with Humanity,” Margaret Blee 1, Shirley Taylor 2. Miss C. Lindsay judged the Third and Fourth Forms and Mr F. Crimp the senior forms.
