FLYING BOAT DAMAGED

(P.A.) AUCKLAND. Jan.' 2. More than 20 holes were torn in the fabric covering of. the tail , and ailerons of the Tasman flying boat, New Zealand, by the hail that fell in the storm which swept Sydney on Wednesday afternoon. The New Zealand, which was moored at Rose Bay, did not suffer any severe damage, but repairs had to be made to the torn fabric before the aircraft could leave for Auckland this morning.
