EGYPTIANS FEAR FLOODS
(Rec. 1 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 16. Warnings that the Nile is approaching record levels have sent Egyptians crowding into mosques and praying to be spared the horrors of floods, reports Reuter’s Cairo correspondent. Reports from Khartoum say that the Blue Nile continues to rise steadily.
