TRAVEL CLUB
The speaker at the Travel Club, which met at the Savoy on Wednesday morning, was Mr J. N. Calder. Mr Caiaer entertained the members with an account of many of his early experiences at sea and in many foreign countries. The guests included Mr D. Robson (Invercargill Travel Club), Mrs W. H. Elliott (Clarendon), Mrs S. A. McDougall (Isle of Skye), Mrs J. M. Calder, Mrs Hugh Ramsay (Melbourne), Mrs W. J. Bardsley (New Plymouth) and Mr J. Randall Poulter (Napier). The hostesses were Lady Sidey and Mrs M. Mitchell.
