HOSPITAL POLICY AND FINANCE

Sir, —The time is long overdue for a change in the method of curing disease. Hospitals are overcrowded everywhere Doctors' waiting rooms are the same. And New Zealand is supposed to be a land of plenty in the way of food. It is about time something was done about it. Drugs are not always the best methods of curing for they often upset some other part of the system. We should give Dr Ulric Williams’s method a trial and see if hospitals cannot be emptied. We hear a lot about staff shortages, etc., so why not try some other method of curing disease? The women of New Zealand should do something about it.—l am, etc., Kaltangata, July 2. Health First.
