THE AWARUA SEAT INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE (P.A.) INVERCARGILL. July 5. Mr N. Mclntyre, a farmer, of Tussocf Creek, has announced his intention to stand for the Awarua electorate as an Independent. He has stood thrice previously for Awarua and once for Mataura. Mr Mclntyre will advocate a co-operative policy in the interests of the working farmers.

(P.A.) HAWERA. July 5 . Mr W. A. Sheat, the present member, has been nominated for the Patea seat. He was the only candidate for selection.
