INCREASED AIR TRAVEL
SAVING LEGISLATORS’ TIME (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) mi . WELLINGTON, July 5. The possibility of air travel being used to a greater extent than previously by members of Parliament in view of the present difficulties of transport by train and boat was being investigated, stated the Prime Minister, Mr P. Fraser during a discussion on the future sitting hours of the House of Representatives in the House to-day. Mr Fraser said that if this were done it would involve increased expenditure by the Legislative Department, but the country’s business must he transacted, and members were anxious to avoid displacing any of the travelling public on boats or trains.
