LARGE YARDINGS (Special) OAMARU, Apl. 19. There were exceptionally large yardings in ail classes of stock at the Waiareka sale to-day. Prices:— Fat Cattle.—Best steers, £l2 10s to £ls; medium, £9 2s Gd to £ll 10s; best heifers, £lO 17s Gd to £l2 15s; medium, £8 5s to £9 15s; cows, £7 10s to £9 2s 6d. Store Cattle. —Pen of 18-months-old heifers, £G 7s 6d; pen of yearling heifers, £5 10s; pen of yearling steers, £9 2s Gd. Fat Sheep.—Best wethers, 23s 9d to 35s Gd; medium. 26s Gd to 30s 3d; best ewes, 18s 9d to 22s 6d; medium, 15s 6d to 17s 9d; light, 13s to 14s 6d; fat lambs, 23s 3d to 29s 6d. Store Sheep.—Best ewe lambs, 27s to 30s; medium, 24s to 2Gs 3d; small, down to 19s 3d; pen good lambs, 25s Id; medium wether lambs, 17s to 19s 6d; small, 12s to 14s: pen good two-tooth ewes, 41s; pen small two-tooth ewes, 295; pen four, six, and eight-tooth ewes, 25s Gd; soundmouthed ewes, 21s to 23s 3d; f. and f.m., 16s 9d to 18s 6d; f.m., 10s 6d to 14s Bd.
