ALEXANDRA STOCK SALE
The yarding of 1700 sheep at the stock sale at Alexandra yesterday represented a clean-up for the season. There was a good attendance of local buyers and the yarding was cleared at satisfactory prices. Quotations: Extra good crossbred ewe lambs, 295; good, 26s Gd; small ewe lambs, 16s Gd; forward lambs, 16s Gd to 16s 9d; medium wether lambs, 13s 6d to 14s; fullmouthed crossbred ewes, 20s to 21s 6d; full and failing-mouthed halfbred ewes, 13s to 15s; small two-tooth halfbred ewes, 20s Gd; fat wethers, 20s 3d.
