DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE On the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday there were unsatisfied buyers of Donaghy’s Rope at £3 4s and of New Zealand Drugs at £4 14s. In the banking and insurance section Bank of New Zealands were quoted at £2 4s Gd (buyer) and £2 5s (seller). Commercial Banks at 18s 6d and 18s 9d, and National Insurance at £1 4s 9d and £1 5s Bd. Sellers offered New Zealand Refrigeratings (paid) at £1 9s 6d and the contributing shares at I4s 4d, but no buyers were attracted. An offer of £2 17s for Tooths Breweries was not accepted. Buyers also offered £1 7s for Broken Hill South shares and £2 16s 6d for Electrolytic Zinc (ord., ex div.). There was a seller of Broken Hill Proprietary at £2 ss, and Clutha River shares were quoted at Is lOd (buyer) and 2s 3d (seller).
