A motion of sympathy with Mrs W. Rourangi in the loss of her husband, was passed by the Waitaki Acclimatisation Society at its monthly meeting on Wednesday night. , , Mr C J. Beveridge, accountant at the Oamaru Post Office, has received advice of his tranfer on promotion to Wellington, where he will take up his duties on A Advice has been recieved by Mr and Mrs A- N. Woodgate that their son, Flight Lieutenant Arthur John Woodgate, has been posted as missing on air operations.
