LADIES’ BRASS BAND

The Dunedin Ladies' Brass Band held a successful concert at Concord on Tuesday, in aid of the local patriotic funds The band, under the conductorship of Mi Hilmer Davie, presented an enjoyable programme, and other items were given by Misses Jessie Leishmann and Gwenda Burt (songs), and Moira and June Meenan (vocal duets). Sketches arranged by Miss Burt were contributed by members of the band. Mrs J. Yule was the accompanist Mr Cox, on behalf of the committee, expressed thanks to'Mr Davie for the enjoyable entertainment.
