STATE THEATRE
An actor who has gained prominence in many French films will head the cast of •' Moontlde,” a stirring story of romance along the Pacific waterfronts, which will be screened at the State Theatre .to-mor-row. Also in the cast are Ida Lupino, whose performances in previous films have gained her a place among the leading dramatic actresses of Hollywood, Thomas ■Mitchell and Claude Rains, two outstanding character actors, and Jerome Cowan and Helene Reynolds. " Moontide ” was adapted i'or the screen by John O’Hara, produced by Mark Hellinger, and directed by Archie Mayo, who is noted for his capable handling of manv of the outstanding performers in the film world.
