DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE Buyers offered £2 Is 6d for Bank of New Zealands on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday afternoon, but the quotation by sellers was £2 Is 9d. Commercial Banks were wanted at 17s, with sellers 8d away. New Zealand Refrigerating (cont.) had buyers at 12s 9d, with sellers at 13s, and £1 18s 9d was offered for New Zealand Breweries. The contributing issue of Kaiapol Woollens was inquired for at 9s and the preference at £1 2s 9d. Broken Hill Proprietaries were quoted at £2 4s (buyer) and £2 5s (seller). Buyers offered* £1 14s 3d for Milburn Lime, £2 8s 6d for McKenzies Stores, and £4 10s for the £2 paid issue of New Zealand Drugs.
