Sir,—Why not ration raisins? So many goods are rationed, and under that system one certainly gels a share of a commodity. Since Christmas, 1942, I have in all been able to purchase two packets of raisins yet a friend in the district told me that a few days ago she was offered a dozen packets by a city firm, and throughout the year had always received a couale of packets with her order from that firm. Why can a city firm get raisins and not the country storekeeper? —I am, etc.. Cakes for Soldiers. Roxburgh, October 19.
