MILTON

Obituary.—The death occurred at his residence on Friday of Mr John Robinson, in his sixty-eighth year. He was the second son of Mr and Mrs William Robinson, of Moneymore, where he attended school, and was engaged in farming practically all his life. Mr Robinson had lived in Milton for the last 14 years. He is survived by his widow and two sons. Women’s Institute.—The eleventh birthdav party of the Miiton branch of the Women’s'lnstitute was presided over by Mrs Whytock. The motto was, ”A cheery smile or a ‘ How do you do? ’ may change the day from grey to blue.” Items* were given 'by Mesdames Park and Fiddes (playette), Miss McCorkindale (piano solos). Mrs Finch' (songs). Greetings and good wishes were received from the Mothers’ League and from the Kaitangata and Lovell’s Flat Institutes. The president of the W.D.F.U. (MrS R. Davidson) wished the institute every success in the coming year. *
